Good Wines Gone Bad – Wine Flaws and Faults, Tuesday, July 31 @ 7pm

Good Wines Gone Bad – Wine Flaws and Faults
Tuesday, July 31 at 7pm
Course Fee $30

Here's another chance to attend our most popular wine class! The wine you’ve just opened came highly recommended (or you loved it last time you tried it), but when you open it at home…just not as exciting as you expected.  Is this any good?  Or, you’re at a fine restaurant and the waiter is presenting you with the wine.  You get a pour, bring the glass up…and now what?

You’ll learn how to answer those and many other questions in the fun, very informative, “Good Wines Gone Bad” class.  We’ll start by sampling four wines in pristine condition and then proceed to show you the most common ways these great bottles end up tasting like…well, not good.  You’ll learn how to determine when a wine is heat damaged, oxidized, infected with Brett, or “corked” as well as experience the impact of bad glasses or incorrect serving temperature.

This fun, highly interactive, class runs from 7-8:30 pm on Tuesday, , and the cost is just $30 per person.  To reserve your seats, just call us at 703.356.6500, email us at wineteam@chainbridgecellars.com or simply stop by the store.
