- Hillinger Secco NV Product #20714 (In Stock)

Gently sparkling with fine fruit: that's the Hillinger Secco, the winery's light pink creation of 100% Pinot Noir grapes. This is easily the best (and most dry) release yet. Pretty in the glass and loaded with aromas and flavors of tangy strawberry, cranberry and cherry fruit. Juicy and refreshingly dry on the tangy finish, this would be a great brunch or warm afternoon drink!
- Lovisolo Vino Spumonte Brut Rose NV Product #24653 (In Stock)
-
-
It's back - our favorite sparkling pink Nebbiolo from Italy. At first, a bizarre idea, but turns out deliciously here. The wine’s a pretty pale salmon pink color with brilliant highlights and zesty bubbles. The aromas suggest Nebbiolo – cherries, strawberries, red flowers, perhaps some tar. Then in them mouth there’s lots of bright berry fruit framed by notes of basil and mint. The ripe fruit builds towards the middle before everything finishes clean, crisp, and dry with lingering cherry/berry fruit and mouthwatering acidity. A really good sparkling rosé that’s fun to look at and a delight to drink.
- Fracchia Voulet Malvasia Di Casorzo D'asti 2012 Product #26876 (In Stock)
-
-
This delicious frizzante wine is a rare version of red Malvasia, vinified with a pleasant touch of sweetness and a light, frothy, sparkle. As The Washington Post’s Dave McIntyre said about the 2011, “This delightful little frizzante red from Piedmont is a cousin to Brachetto d’Acqui, and equal to Brachetto in its affinity for chocolate." As always, the lightly sweet red raspberry and strawberry fruit is a delight!

-
-
Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2011! You might not expect to find top-quality fizz in the New Mexico highlands, but France's Gruet family has been turning it out for years. Best in a while!
"Elegant and focused, with creamy vanilla and apple aromas and rich yet crisp flavors of baked pear and cinnamon bread. Drink now through 2014."Wine Spectator 90 points
- Finca Valldosera Cava Brut Nature NV Product #23944 (In Stock)
-
-
The price-quality-ratio here is just absurd. Toasty and yeasty on the nose then fantastically complex apple and golden fruit flavors with plenty of yeast/bread dough flavors. Stunning levels of fruit for a no-dosage wine and the kind of creamy, silky, texture normally only found in $40 Champagne. Super friendly, you can drink this like Prosecco if you like, but it's more than sophisticated enough to warrant close attention.
"Finca Valldosera is a boutique producer (5000 cases total production) of high-class Cava. All three of the above Cavas are Brut Nature meaning they have received zero dosage. The Non-Vintage Brut Nature is a blend of 45% Xarel-lo, 30% Macabeo, 10% Parellada, 10% Chardonnay, and 5% Subirat Parent with 10% of the Xarel-lo barrel-fermented and aged. The wine remained sur lie for 24 months and was hand-riddled. It offers up an enticing nose of brioche, smoked nuts, and assorted white fruits. Displaying small persistent bubbles, a smooth texture, and excellent balance, this tasty Cava over-delivers in a big way."Wine Advocate 90 points
- Eudald Massana Noya Cava Brut Familia NV Product #25506 (In Stock)
-
-
From a 9th generation winemaker who is pushing the envelope for quality and value. This traditional-styled Cava is a blend of Macabeu, XarelAlo, Parellada and Chardonnay all grown in organic/biodynamic vineyards. Our first reaction to tasting it was, “Wow – this is really good!” There’s plenty of elegant white and even some red fruit set off by a fine yeasty/bready character and a dash of seaside minerality. Creamy, with small, refined bubbles, and ready to enjoy anytime you need a little lift.
- Tenuta Pederzana Gibe Lambrusco 2009 Product #25772 (In Stock)
-
-
Don't be scared - this is not your grandma's Lambrusco! This is a dry, but joyfully fruity red sparkler made from Grasparossa, the red grape that produces the best and most concentrated Lambruscos. Drink it as they do in Emilia Romagna, as an aperitif with cured meats, parmesan cheese, or fried nibbles. It's also fabulous with pizza!
- Mestres Cava Reserva 1312 NV Product #26871 (In Stock)
-
-
Here's a new favorite Cava, handmade from Macabeu, Zerel-lo, and Parellada grapes, aged in barrel as base wines and then for 20 months on the lees in bottle before being disgorged by hand. All of that work and care shines through in the glass here, with bright, zesty, aromas and flavors of citrus, golden apple, and fresh toast. A leesy, biscuity, Cava that stays fresh on the long finish where a touch of sweet lemon lingers. Very fine value.
- L' Antica Quercia Prosecco Superiore "Matiu" Brut NV Product #26553 (In Stock)
-
-
The oak tree on the label is a 600 year-old landmark near the winery and represents this estate's commitment to organic farming and handmade wines. This is a clean, crisp, Prosecco with fine fruit and accents of bitter almond and fresh herbs. Finishes dry and bright with a hint of 5 Spice. It's dry, mouthwatering, and keeps you coming back for sip after sip.
- Falchetto Brachetto d'Acqui 2012 Product #27013 (In Stock)
-
-
If you're a fan of Fracchia Voulet, this is your "special occasion" wine. And, if you think lightly sparkling, sweet, red wine sounds odd, then you just haven't tried a beauty like this! A traditional wine in Italy's Piemonte region, this comes from 100% Brachetto grapes, harvested early in the season, soaked for 2 days to extract color, and then fermented in tank to a low alcohol level. Brachetto's high acidity cuts through the sweet raspberry, strawberry, and rose petal flavors and the note of dark chocolate adds complexity and depth. It's beautiful in the glass, at once rich and refreshing on the palate, and a perfect wine to sip ice cold by itself or with chocolate-covered strawberries or raspberries.
- Delamotte Champagne Brut NV 375ml Product #27023 (In Stock)
-
-
Fine value in this bright, chalky, blend of 50% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir and 20% pinot meunier.
"Light gold. Ripe yellow plum and dried pear on the intensely perfumed nose, with complicating notes of white flowers and chalk. Silky, concentrated, sappy citrus and orchard fruit flavors and notes of dusty minerals, anise and honey. The tangy finish shows a refreshingly bitter quality and clings with very good spiciness and length."International Wine Cellar 91 points
- Duval Leroy Nv Brut 375ml Product #20790 (In Stock)
-

"There's a creamy edge to the quince, biscuit, honey and ginger flavors in this well-cut Champagne, which help to balance the firm acidity. Vibrant and expressive, with a zesty finish. Drink now through 2014."Wine Spectator 91 points
- Steininger Gruner Veltliner Seckt 2010 Product #26659 (In Stock)
-
-
So, what happens when you take a great still wine – in this case, the 2009 Grüner Veltliner Classic – and give it a little fizz? Pure joy ensues!
Steininger is Kamptal’s top producer of sparkling wines and one of the very best in all of Austria. The family specializes in single varietal, single vintage, fizz that showcases the character of the grape and growing season. The 2010 Grüner Veltliner Sekt is a beauty, at once creamy and full of classic Grüner fruit and terrifically dry and vibrant. The in-bottle secondary fermentation delivers plenty of fizz, but this still reads “Grüner” with bright apple, green pea, and white pepper notes. Easy to sip on its own and fun to pair with savory sausage or freshwater fish. - Mas De Daumas Gassac Rosé Frizant NV Product #27197 (In Stock)
-
-
Fun, fruity, fizz here from the very serious folks at Mas de Daumas. Made from juice bled off young-vine Cabernet vats, the still fermenting pink wine finishes in sealed stainless steel tanks to capture frothy fizz. Loaded with ripe strawberry, candied cherry, and watermelon fruit and just a hint of Cabernet herb and mineral, this finishes soft and clean. Makes you smile.
- Pierre Paillard Bouzy Grand Cru Brut Nv 375ml Product #25072 (In Stock)
-
-
Coming from a very storied tradition of Bouzy Champagne producers, the Pierre Paillard Brut is one of the softest, prettiest Champagnes we've found in a long time. A blend of '06/'07 vintage Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chard fruit, Brut is has amazing aromas of fresh yellow pear and chalky mineral. The palate will blow you away with green apple and one of the softest textures you ever tasted. The wine finishes with flavors of soft cashews and genty caramalized pears.
"(60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay, from Bouzy; based on 2007, with 20% reserve wine from 2006) Light, bright yellow. Ripe pear and redcurrant aromas are complicated by rose oil, anise and toasty lees. A hefty, palate-coating Champagne that offers pliant orchard fruit flavors and a touch of orange marmalade. Finishes smooth and broad, with very good sappy persistence. I'd serve this broad-shouldered Champagne with a richly sauced poultry dish or strong cheeses."International Wine Cellar 90 points

- Laurent Dauphin Champagne Tradition Nv Product #23275 (In Stock)
-
-
Think you can't get REAL Champagne UNDER $30? I'll admit, we didn't think so either! This delectably crisp, mineral-driven Champagne is actually a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. Big citrus flavors hint at Meyer lemon and lime zest, paired with a gentle toasted biscuit and undercut with a racy, zinging acidity that really keeps this dancing not just across your tongue, but your whole mouth! Champagne lovers, rejoice!
- Charles De Cazanove Champagne Brut Tradition NV Product #26688 (In Stock)

A terrific bottle of classic and classy real Champagne, priced to share with a crowd. The Washington Post loved this at "about $30 a bottle." It's certainly even better at this price!
"Wow. What a terrific champers for the money. It’s an excellent introduction to what makes champagne special, and those already familiar with the genre will appreciate its sophistication. It’s the value find of the year." 2.5 Stars, Washington Post, 12/18/2012
"This Champagne offers an array of flavor, including toasted brioche, Gala apple, lemon zest, graphite and ginger, with a touch of honey. Elegant, but with good intensity and a moderate, nut-tinged finish. Drink now through 2018."Wine Spectator 92 points
