Anton Bauer Rose Wagram 2013 Product #28380 (In Stock)
Anton Bauer Rose Wagram 2013 Anton Bauer Rose Wagram 2013

The best vintage yet for this citrusy, crackling, Austrian rosé made from Zweigeld, Merlot, and Syrah.  Bright aromas of cherry, raspberry, lemon zest, and a touch of crushed herb open the show. Then, "bang" goes a big mouthful of red berry, citrus, and candied watermelon fruit with juicy accents of lemon zest, herb and rhubarb.  Full of fruit, but finishing crisp, dry, and mouthwatering, you'll love this for sipping by the pool or with light foods like sushi and salads.  An outstanding bottle of Summer pink!

Dom Du Dragon Grande Cuvee Rose Cotes De Provence 2013 Product #28238 (In Stock)
Dom Du Dragon Grande Cuvee Rose Cotes De Provence 2013 Dom Du Dragon Grande Cuvee Rose Cotes De Provence 2013

Another winning vintage for this long-time customer and staff favorite! You'll find all the layered complexity you expect here as zesty aromas and flavors of strawberry, redcurrant, blood orange and chalky mineral chase across your palate.  Plenty of concentration and power and even more drive and cut than last year on the spicy, dry, stony, finish.  A classic Provencal rose, well-priced, and perfect for sipping solo or with salmon or Salade Niçoise.

Chapoutier Bila Haut Cotes Du Roussillon Rose 2013 Product #28631 (In Stock)
Chapoutier Bila Haut Cotes Du Roussillon Rose 2013 Chapoutier Bila Haut Cotes Du Roussillon Rose 2013

Northern Rhone master Michel Chapoutier's Roussillon estate - Bila-Haut - has been going from strength to strength the past few years, and this little beauty certainly argues that the positive trend will continue in 2013!  It's a blend of Grenache and Cinsault grown specifically for rosé, crushed,  macerated briefly, and then pressed off while still pink and made in stainless steel. A slightly more robust and jolly take on pink wine than you find in Provence, it delivers a big mouthful of candied watermelon and tangy cherry fruit with mouthwatering acidity and a sense of hot paving stone.  A not too serious, very tasty, rosé to enjoy in the shade with veggies and grilled lamb dipped in lots of garlicky aioli.

"This has plenty of melon flavors and crisp spicy notes, featuring some peppery accents. The alluring finish shows saline and pastry elements."Wine Spectator 88 points

Ch Marie du Fou Mareuil Rose 2013 Product #28455 (In Stock)
Ch Marie du Fou Mareuil Rose 2013 Ch Marie du Fou Mareuil Rose 2013

The Mourat family's Chateau Marie du Fou is the only winery to be located in the historic town of Mareuil sur Lay, about 14 miles East of the Atlantic Ocean. Their rose is a blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Sauvignon that delivers very sophisticated aromas and flavors of fresh, ripe, strawberries dusted with savory herb and accented by just a touch of tangy cherry.  Very smooth and pure in texture with a dry, herb-laced, mouthwatering finish.  Lovely stuff.
