"With dark ruby color, this blend has aromas of blueberry cobbler, muddled basil, red raspberry, and cherry cola. In the mouth, there are flavors of black raspberry compote, cherries jubilee, tart plum, cedar, and a hint of red apple. The finish shows French oak notes of caramel and vanilla as well as blackberry and watermelon rind." Winery notes
- Martin Ray Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2010 Product #26920 (In Stock)

Another solid, satisfying, bottle of California Cabernet that would cost $10 more if it was from Napa! Rich, ripe, and packed with sweet blackberry, blueberry, and currant fruit accented by a dusty cocoa powder note. Perfectly balanced between richness, acid, and fine, dusty, tannin, this is ready to enjoy now with a steak or even just on its own.
- Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2010 Product #27167 (In Stock)

This robust, ripe, California Cabernet is even more impressive considering the challenging 2010 vintage, one of the coolest and longest ever. Winemaker Michael Martini took the best Cabernet Sauvingon from thee different Alexander Valley Vineyards and then blended in 10% Petit Sirah to add more color and ripe black fruit. Aging for 14 months in a mixture of new and used oaks let the wine come together and added a dash of chocolate and spice, but avoided any overt oaky flavors – important for a winery whose founder hated the taste of wood! Dark and robust now, but soft enough on the long finish to enjoy with grilled meats or a 30 minute decant. Excellent value.
“Martini’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is very tight today, but it nevertheless dazzles with expressive dark red fruit, grilled herbs, licorice and dried flowers. An exotic, utterly beguiling Cabernet, the 2010 is long on personality and character. Tar, licorice and iron are some of the dark, brooding notes that add muscle and an element of darkness that is undeniably appealing. Readers will need to give the 2010 at least a few years in bottle. The future sure looks bright here. Best of all, within the context of California Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2010 is a steal. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025.”Wine Advocate 91+ points

Texas trasplants, Adam and Dianna Lee, continue to make rock solid Pinot Noir. Their 2011 Sonoma Country line is no exception with aromas of soft spiced cherry. Delicious, lush flavors of red plum, raspberry and strawberry fill the palate with toasty note of nutmeg on the finish. A GREAT value for Cali Pinot. Easily drinks well above its price point. Pairs with seared tuna and salmon dishes.
- Matanzas Creek Merlot 2007 Product #26188 (In Stock)

This Bennett Valley Merlot is made from Merlot clone 181 - the "Petrus" clone of Merlot - plus about 15% Cabernet Sauvignon from Knights Valley. Classic Merlot aromas of red currant and fresh herbs - thyme, sage, - plus a dusting of clove leading to bright and juicy flavors of black currant, blueberry, licorice and spice. Loads of juicy acidity for a California Merlot make this a perfect, palate cleansing, match for richer meat dishes.
