A fantastic bottle of Chenin Blanc that teeters brilliantly on the border between "sec" and "demi-sec". Complex and captivating aromas of waxy asian pear and herb honey open things up. Then, juicy on the entry and explosive flavors of pear, apple, flowers, and a touch of spice that gain richness from a hint of sweetness before the acids break through and deliver a dry, crisp, finish. Very complex with deep flavors and excellent acids.

"Domain Huet" is synonymous with "the best in Vouvray", and for all the attention their sweet wines get, the dry Chenin Blancs are just as compelling. Aromas of quince, orchard fruit, and smoky mineral carry through to the richly textured, earthy, palate. Dry, chalky, and long on the finish, this is approachable now and will improve for 2-3 years.
