Another stunning release from one of Oregon's top Pinot Producers in the tricky 2011 vintage. A blend of fruit from top vineyards - Shea, Guadolupe, and Beaux Freres' own Upper Terrace - this pure, layered, Pinot Noir is already wide open and ready to enjoy. Generous aromas and flavors of dark cherry, black raspberry, Asian spice, and damp fresh earth. Wonderful purity and transparency here, but plenty of intensity and a nice wisp of tannin and bright acids make this a great choice for drinking now, pairing with salmon and earthy foods, or even aging for 3-5 years. A beauty.
