A new joint venture between Nicolas Jaboulet and the Perrin family at Ch Beaucastel. It's a beautiful example of Northern Rhone Syrah, layered and smokey with pretty crushed red fruits, spice, and a touch of the meaty element that serves as a signature for this region. 2009's ripeness did not harm here, making this an accessible Syrah that will pair wonderfully with a wide range of grilled and roasted meats.
