- Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2012 Product #28433 (In Stock)
Twenty Rows was founded to bring you “Napa Valley Wines You Can Drink Every Day” and, while the whole line-up is impressive, the benchmark Napa Cab remains the standout. A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon softened with 10% Merlot, one taste and you’ll see that Twenty Rows is a big step up from even very good $20 California Cabs - in fact, it competes nicely with many $30-$40 Napa reds.
The 2012 is the best we've tasted here, with a new level of richness and depth to the black currant/cherry fruit and accents of cocoa and roasted coffee. Still dense and rich, but with more lift and earthy complexity and a nice dark chocolate note on the smooth finish. Drinking well now and sure to improve over 3-4 years.
- Twenty Rows The Grappler Red Napa 2012 Product #28937 (In Stock)
A nice treat for Prisoner fans on a budget, the 2012 Grappler is a blend of 85% Zinfandel, 5% Syrah, 5% Petite Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Grenache, all from prime sites around Napa. It's a rich, powerful wine with loads of spicy cherry, blackberry, and spice aromas and flavors. All that richness is nicely balanced by juicy acidity that make this medium-bodied (13.9%) red fun to drink.
