Dom Leon Boesch Pinot Blanc 2014 Product #30741 (In Stock)
Dom Leon Boesch Pinot Blanc 2014 Dom Leon Boesch Pinot Blanc 2014

We love Pinot Blanc, and this is a great example why.  On the nose, you'll find subtle aromas of pear and fresh apple.  On the palate, those apple flavors come right through (maybe a Honeycrisp?) without ever veering into apple cider territory.  The texture hits a perfect note of richness while remaining crisp and fresh.  Try it with richer poultry dishes or creamy seafood.

Trimbach Riesling 2013 Product #31157 (In Stock)
Trimbach Riesling 2013 Trimbach Riesling 2013

Fine, dry, almost savory Riesling from one of the world's great estates.

"Pale straw-green. Lime and orange oil on the perfumed, deep nose. Bright and clean on the palate, with zippy acidity providing lift and definition to the chamomile and licorice flavors. Finishes crisp, dry and long. Made from grapes grown mainly around Ribeauvillé, the rest from St. Hippolyte and Thann--and a tiny bit from the Bas-Rhin. For an entry-level Riesling, this is carrying a rather amazing 26 grams per liter of dry extract."  Vinous (D'Agata) 89 points

Trimbach Gewurtztraminer 2013 Product #30652 (In Stock)
Trimbach Gewurtztraminer 2013 Trimbach Gewurtztraminer 2013

Nobody does the rich but still dry and food-friendly style of Gewurtz better than Trimbach.  Showy and fun with a touch of class.

"Powdery, creamy notes of rose, orange and mandarin oil unite in a concentrated, punchy palate that focuses on taste rather than aroma. This is rounded and rich with an immensely concentrated phenolic vein that lends structure and poise. The finish is lasting but demure."Wine Enthusiast 91 points

"Dry and spicy, this minerally version is backed by racy acidity that focuses well-knit flavors of white peach, pink grapefruit zest, ground white pepper and orchard blossom. Lasting, fragrant finish."Wine Spectator 90 points

Dom Weinbach Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru 2014 Product #30322 (In Stock)
Dom Weinbach Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru 2014 Dom Weinbach Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru 2014

Always a favorite of ours, this year’s Riesling from the upper slopes of the great Grand Cru Schlosseberg vineyard is even more pure and intense than usual.  Big aromas and breathtaking flavors, with pear, peach, almond, and lemon drop notes that swirl across your palate.  Warm stone minerality builds towards the end and lingers on a long, mouthwatering, finish that sails on and on with wonderful delicacy for all the mid-palate power.

"From the upper part of the terraced single vineyard site, the 2014 Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg opens with pure, intense and fresh lime flavors on the nose, and indicates a concentrated, aromatically precise and minerally articulated character that reflects the cooler nature of the Schlossberg compared to the nearby Sonnenberg Grand Cru in Niedermorschwihr. The attack on the palate is fruit intense and elegant, wide and round, but never broad or baroque. The Schlossberg combines its sappy, well-concentrated Riesling fruit with the mineral soul of the granitique cru, and finishes with lemon flavors and a lingering salinity. Very long and complex; here, you get both the salty mineral character of the graniteque soil and the ripe but coolish lime-perfume of the upper part of the south-facing Cru, which benefits from cool nights since it is located in a small valley with forests and the Weinbach stream. A great and promising Riesling."Wine Advocate 93 points

Trimbach Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile 2007 Product #30653 (In Stock)
Trimbach Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile 2007 Trimbach Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile 2007

"Quince, chlorophyll, licorice, menthol, jasmine and lemon verbena on a nose that's surprisingly perfumed for what was a very warm vintage. Fragrant, fresh and clean on entry, with harmonious but lively acidity lifting the lemon and lime flavors complicated by minty herbs, quinine and licorice. Minerally and penetrating on the long, saline finish, showing more flesh than some other Frederic Emile vintages. "  Vinous (D'Agata) 92 points

"Racy, finely tuned acidity frames this elegant white, supporting a subtle, layered palate. Shows base notes of petrol and brine, tangy apple, grapefruit zest, fresh forest and candle wax. Long, long minerally finish. Drink now through 2027."Wine Spectator 93 points

Dom Weinbach Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg SGN 2009 375ml Dom Weinbach Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg SGN 2009 375ml

Luxurious, intense, and nearly immortal.

"Bright, pale yellow-gold. Orange flower, strawberry and glazed kumquat on the enticing nose. Pure, palate-staining flavors of cinnamon apple, pear and tea leaf carry through to a very long, smooth aftertaste. The sugar/acid balance (136 g/l residual sugar and 7.25 g/l total acidity) is truly compelling. Great wine."International Wine Cellar 94 points
