- Bodegas Ego Infinito Jumilla 2012 Product #31634 (In Stock)
This started as a $75 wine - with the polish and power to match - but has gotten a little more affordable of late. Monestrell for fruit and earth and 10% Petit Verdot for violets and black fruit.
"Cola, licorice and leather notes frame plum and tar flavors in this savory red. There's good depth beneath the polished texture, with balanced tannins and balsamic acidity for structure. Monastrell and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2020."Wine Spectator 91 points
- Bodegas El Nido Clio Jumilla 2014 Product #31497 (In Stock)
A Benchmark joint venture bottling of Chris Ringland and Spain's Juan Gil winery. It's a super dark, ripe, and rich 70/30 blend of Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon. Words like "soft," "plush" and "velvet" always apply here, but in the cool 2014 vintage there's extra freshness to the luxurious black fruit, chocolate, coffee and licorice here. Plenty of oak, but the fruit to handle it.
