The newest vintage of our best-selling rose for the past two years is here. So, it's time to think pink! Down in AOC Fronton, just south of Bordeaux, the main grape is the little known Negrette. It turns out that Negrette makes a darn tasy rose! Strawberry and black cherry fruit mingle with flavors of dark flowers and wet granite. Energetic and dry, this is just about the perfect summer sipper and surprisingly versatile with food.

The motto here is “Gascony seen by a feminine point of view.” Other than the fact that the estate is led by women, I’m not sure what that really means, but this is a heck of a delicious white for summer sipping. The blend is 80% Colombard – the main white grape in Gascony – for bright acidity and round texture and 20% Sauvignon Blanc for a big burst of fruit and touch of fresh hay. The fruit flavors coat your palate with ripe green melon, golden apple, and orange/tangerine flavors set off by lemony acids, a dash of minerality, and a whiff of fresh cut grass. A great summer sipper that delivers Sauvignon Blanc-like flavors that have been softened and tamed by the Colombard. Yummy.

Vermouth is an aromatic wine, made from a neutral, dry white basic wine which is then blended with an infusion. The infusion, which gives each vermouth its unique and distinctive character, is created by flavoring the basic wine with a special selection of herbs, flowers, fruit peels, seeds, plants and other botanicals. The addition of brandy fortifies the vermouth to 18% alcohol by volume. The prized and closely guarded recipe is used to make Boissiere has not changed since 1854.
Infused with select botanicals such as elderflower, chamomile and coriander, Boissiere is recognized for its floral and herbal aromas and refined palate. Add ice and drink it "neat" or mix it in to make the perfect martini!

This sweet wine from Southwestern France is made with hand-picked Tannat grapes allowed to semi-dry on the vine. The wine is rich and dense, with ample black currant and black cherry fruit framed by notes of chocolate and spice cake. Complex and medium sweet, this would be a great match with anything made with dark chocolate.
