It's crazy to think that you can get a concentrated, exceptional, wine like this from 100 year-old vines grown at 2,800 feet for this little money. This fantastic Verdejo opens with intense aromas of chalk, rainwater, and orange zest. Then, it's rich and creamy in texture with loads of liquid minerals riding under orange and apricot fruit. The flavors just keep pumping through the long, minerally, finish where orange cream and chalk notes linger. As focused as a top Sancerre but with more fruit. Layers and layers of flavor linger on and on. Amazing stuff.
