Terre Scaligere Pinot Grigio 2013 Product #28540 (In Stock)
Terre Scaligere Pinot Grigio 2013 Terre Scaligere Pinot Grigio 2013

This Pinot Grigio from Italy's Veneto region really delivers for summer refreshment.  Aromas of Meyer lemon, ripe pears, and white flowers entice you to take a sip.  On the palate, there's enough richness to stand up to food, but it finishes snappy and clean, with those juicy pear flavors continuing on the finish.  A great value!

Villa Brunesca Pinot Grigio 2013 Villa Brunesca Pinot Grigio 2013

Grown on the plains north of Venice, this is a rich, creamy, Grigio with lots of depth to the lightly candied pear and salty caramel flavors.  Ripe pear features prominently in the nose and on the palate, with plenty of spicy pear and nectarine fruit lingering at the end.  A powerhouse, zesty, Pinot Grigio that will sing with Thai or Indian food.

Corte Adami Valpolicella Superiore 2010 Product #26892 (In Stock)
Corte Adami Valpolicella Superiore 2010 Corte Adami Valpolicella Superiore 2010

An "old school" Valpolicella from a fairly young estate (2004).  A blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes from 40 year-old vines done all in tank, this features ripe black cherry fruit flavors and aromas with a dash of fresh, resiny, pine and herb. With a little air, the fruit gets darker and spicier and a lovely dried tobacco note emerges.  Juicy and lightly tannic, this will work extremely well at table.

Tedeschi Amarone 2009 Product #29008 (In Stock)
Tedeschi Amarone 2009 Tedeschi Amarone 2009

Ahhh - Amarone.  This is a classic, lush, rich, and warming.  It's big, but nicely balanced and easy to drink with rich food or just by a roaring fire.

"The 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella opens to a dark, midnight color and spicy aromas of old spice, Middle Eastern bazaar, waxed furniture, honey-roasted ham, cured meat, caramelized sugar and dark road pavement. The wine shows impossible extraction and concentration that will make it difficult to match foods that don’t involve a hearty piece of red meat. Despite the bulk, there is beauty here."Wine Advocate 93 points
