The 2011 is 100% Cabernet from three vineyard’s in the famous Horse Heaven Hills region, The Teacher gets 21 months in French, American and Hungarian oak to smooth out any rough edges. The aromas are big and complex: grilled bread, pencil lead, Asian spice, violets, and loads of dark black fruit. Then, a big mouthful of ripe black fruits and oak spice in a full bodied, rich, package. Nicely ripe and firm tannin give support and make this a great choice for anything roasted or grilled.
