- Broglia Gavi Di Gavi Bruno Broglia 2013 Product #30742 (In Stock)
For those of us of a certain age, Gavi was the first "good" Italian white we ever tried, but the region's fame quickly drowned in a sea of indifferent wine. As Wine Advocate said a few years ago, "Broglia is one of the very few producers in Gavi turning out distinctive wines that deserve attention." It's 100% Cortese from 50-60 year-old vines done all in tank, and it's probably the best Gavi made today. At once mouthcoating and crisp, it serves up subtle notes of melon, lemon, white flower and more on the nose and palate. Finishes crisp, long, and lovely with lemon and mineral lingering. A very sophisticated, complex, delicious Gavi di Gavi!
