Domaine Isle Saint Pierre sources the fruit from vines ranging from 35-55 year-old. The Domaine has practiced sustainable viticulture for the past 10 years and uses no herbicides or pesticides. To ensure that the wines are as fresh as possible, the winery has been built right in the middle of the vineyards and all wines are fermented and aged in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
This is a really great example of "Old World" Sauvignon Blanc, not aggressively grassy or overly fruity. Just a really nice crisp, fresh, and elegant wine,full of perfume, minerals, and excellent finesse! Perfect for relaxing on the deck, or goat cheese, summer salads, light chicken, and fish!
