A terrific Washington Riesling from Evergreen Vineyard, the state’s (and possibly the USA’s) best site for dry Riesling. Give it a sniff and you’ll find generous aromas of peach and fresh apricot with just a touch of mineral. After a jolt of opening acidity, the flavors are broad and fresh with peach, apricot and even a little sour cherry mingling together in the middle before the snappy acidity brings things to a balanced close. This is brilliant and long and wonderfully transparent.
