The Mayol Quatro Primos celebrates the four members of the Mayol family involved in the winery. It’s a robust blend based on 55% Malbec (for power and complexity) and 35% Syrah (for a dash of dark fruit and softer texture). Complex aromas of black plum, mint, and chocolatey oak lead to flavors of plum, truffle and a touch of menthol. There’s a nice mineral streak running through the wine all the way to the soft, generous, finish.
