Unlike the other two Chidaine wines we’re offering, the Montlouis Clos Habert has 15 g/l residual sugar and hints at sweetness -- but it’s the sweetness of citrus fruit rather than sugar. Chidaine always picks Clos Habert late and in up to 4 passes - bunch by bunch selection to ensure full ripeness. Of the three wines we’re offering, this is the most immediately delicious. It’s medium bodied and loaded with loads of orange and pear fruit and a pronounced honey and a touch of very pleasing bitter almond at the end.
