The wine opens with complex aromas of ripe raspberry and black cherry, fresh turned earth, and a bit of oak toast. The flavors are dark and ripe with notes of earth, and smoke and a bit of minerality hidden down deep. The wine finishes long and sweet with the tannin and acidity balanced perfectly. There’s plenty of concentrated ripeness here, but the overall impression is of elegance, purity, and focus.

Worth noting is that this is also a classic "get it while you can" bottling, as J.
