One of our favorite value Cabernets is drinking better than ever. "Root 1" is grown in high-altitude vineyards where phylloxera can't live, so these are some of the few vinifera vines in the world grown "ungrafted" on their own roots. The wine has a rich ruby color and shows aromas of black cherry, vanilla, and just a hint of herb. In the mouth, this medium-bodied wine delivers flavors of black cherry, black currant, and hints of toffee and herb on the soft finish. A great Cab for a cook out or just sipping with friends!
