Tin Barn made a whopping 281 cases of this vibrant Sonoma County gem from one of the best California Cab vintages in memory. Grown at about 1,000 feet elevation, this is a classic mountain Cab – dark, focused, muscular. Cherry and currant fruit are accented by notes of clove, chocolate and toasty oak in a silky, smoothly textured wine that’s still a bit tightly-wound. Good richness and a dash of pepper on the finish make this a great steak/beef wine now and show lots of promise for development over the next few years.
