Oregon, Spain, Burgundy, and South Africa – A Global Free Tasting Weekend Friday and Saturday!

A bit of something for everyone on this weekend’s free tasting table. You’ll have the chance to sample all three of this week’s featured wines plus two exciting whites – one a fun and easygoing value, the other a nicely rich white Burgundy.  Join us from 3-7pm on Friday and noon-4pm on Saturday to sample:

Cape Original Chenin Blanc Western Cape 2017 – Someday, it will be warm and sunny, and you’ll want a refreshing, lighter-bodied, easy-drinking white wine value to share and drink with casual abandon.   This is it (from $6.98!)

Albert Bichot Santenay Blanc 2015 – A drinker’s white Burgundy, already serving up pretty buttered hazelnut, lemon and stone fruit aromas and flavors in a nicely rich, ready-to-go, style.  Luxurious Chardonnay.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir Reserve 2016 – Always one of the top bargains in high-end Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, the 91point 2016 edition has lovely fruit, a silky texture, and a great finish.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir Freedom Hill 2016 – From one of America’s greatest Pinot Noir vineyards, this is darker, smokier, and spicier than the Reserve.  Nice power here in a wine that stays beautifully light on its feet.

En Numeros Vermells Priorat AiAiAi 2016 – a GREAT value in classic Priorat, this Garnacha, Careinyena, Syrah, Merlot blend explodes with dark fruit, bitter chocolate, sweet spice and dusty slate.

As always, we’ll have some fun treats from the cheese case out to sample and best, mix/match, pricing on all the wines on tasting.  Join us!
