Dom Dupeuble Beaujolais 2015 Product #30978 (In Stock)
Dom Dupeuble Beaujolais 2015 Dom Dupeuble Beaujolais 2015

From an old (since the 1500s) estate that takes growing Beaujolais seriously - 50-100 year-old vines, no chemicals in the vineyard, hand harvested, no SO2 used in vinfification, and so on.  This serious approach delivers a 2014 BoJo that's all about fun!  Ripe and fleshy with dark plum and black raspberry fruit with earthy chocolate accents and a touch of granite on the mouthwatering finish.

"Powerful dark berry, cherry and violet scents are lifted by a smoky mineral nuance and a hint of cracked pepper. Concentrated and juicy on the palate, offering bitter cherry and cassis flavors and a touch of candied licorice. Much more serious and powerful than its appellation would suggest, delivering strong closing thrust and lingering dark berry and mineral notes. There’s no way I'd have guessed that this was a straight Beaujolais."  Vinous (Raynolds) 90 points

"It has a pleasant dark cherry and blackcurrant-scented bouquet with an almost peaty, woodland-like aroma that lends complexity. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, nicely structured and packed full of juicy black fruit, the acidity nicely judged with a touch of salinity towards the finish. This just flows across the mouth, its harmony very appealing and it comes recommended."Wine Advocate 90 points
