Centonze Zibibbo 2015 Product #32539 (In Stock)
Centonze Zibibbo 2015 Centonze Zibibbo 2015

Zibibbo - fun to say, fun to drink!  It's a parent of Muscat and one of the oldest genetically unmodified vines still in existence. In Sicily's warm vineyards it creates a wonderfully aromatic, refreshing, and dry wine that you'll love for sipping and serving at table.

"Delicate nuances of camphor and mint complicate peach tea aromas. Rich and dense, offering precise flavors of lime, green fig and sage, nicely framed by zingy acidity. Finishes peppery and long, and incredibly saline; this is almost salty."  Vinous (d'Agata) 90 points

Castellucci Miano Catarratto Miano Sicilia 2016 Product #32448 (In Stock)
Castellucci Miano Catarratto Miano Sicilia 2016 Castellucci Miano Catarratto Miano Sicilia 2016

This could just be the most delicious Sicilian white you've ever had! It's 100% Catarratto raised in steel and it really explodes with aromas of peach puree, apricot, tangerine and white flowers that expand with air.  On the palate, peach, orange, and citrus flavors weave in and out while a squirt of lemon juice and bite of tangerine peel provide lift and complexity.  Finishes with just a touch of salty mineral, making this a great seafood wine as well as a delicious sipper.

Terre Nere Feudo Di Mezzo 2014 Product #32160 (In Stock)
Terre Nere Feudo Di Mezzo 2014 Terre Nere Feudo Di Mezzo 2014

Decant 1 hour and serve with lamb or other rich, savory, food.

"Super-ripe aromas of red cherry, raspberry nectar and marzipan. Voluptuous and fleshy on the palate, but with plenty of harmonious acidity giving shape to the deep, ripely sweet flavors of red cherry, mocha and marzipan. Rising but polished tannins provide serious spine and support the sweet fleshy fruit. The finish is long, fresh and mineral."  Vinous 92 points

Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso Pignatuni 2011 Product #32162 (In Stock)
Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso Pignatuni 2011 Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso Pignatuni 2011

A stunning, firm, red that turns perfumed and elegant with air.  Not to be missed.

"98% nerello mascalese and 2% nerello cappuccio; 14% alcohol. Bright ruby-red. Intense floral nuances complement aromas of raspberry, Asian spices and flint. Enters the mouth bright and fresh, then turns more supple in the middle, showing an almost pinot-like silkiness of texture to its herbal red fruit and spice flavors. Very graceful wine with real depth--and much better balance than the San Lorenzo. Finishes very long and vibrant, with noteworthy grip. These vineyards were planted in the 1950s on the northern slope of the Etna volcano at about 2,500 feet above sea level."   Vinous 92 points

Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso Moganazzi 2011 Product #32203 (In Stock)

Plush and darkly fruited Nerello from high on Mt Etna that's drinking nicely with bold foods and air.

98% nerello mascalese and 2% nerello cappuccio.  Fully saturated ruby-red. Brooding, complex aromas of sour red cherry, raspberry jam, gunflint, sweet spices and aromatic herbs on the knockout nose. Smooth, rich and dense in the mouth, with tactile flavors of ripe red fruits and minerals. The very long finish features impeccable balance and silky tannins; this is even richer and deeper than the outstanding Pignatuni bottling. I may be proven wrong with time, but I think this may very well be Marc de Grazia's best wine in 2011. These vineyards were planted in the 1950s on the northern slope of the Etna volcano, about 2,300 feet above sea level."  Vinous 92+ points
